In the Humanities, we educate students to engage—creatively, critically, and empathetically—with what it means to be human across the sweep of history, in diverse cultures and environments.
Today at 1pm, the culminating event of our 300th year celebration: Dr. Christopher Loar’s keynote lecture, “Defoe’s Religious Ecologies: Vulnerability and Mastery on Crusoe’s Island of Despair.” Missing it would be almost as sad as being shipwrecked on an island for 28 years.
