On January 22, 2024, the Canadian government announced a temporary two-year cap on international student admissions.
There will be a cap of 364,000 approved study permits this year across Canada.
We are working to assess the impact of this announcement on Humber.

Current international students who are already studying and have approved permits are not impacted by this announcement. Study permit renewals are also not impacted by the announcement.

Humber is happy to see the announcement made by IRCC regarding the extension of temporary distance learning. We are finalizing our program delivery plans for Fall 2022 and will communicate with applicants individually who are waiting on their study permit decision.
