hardly one goes by without shit hitting the fan.
timeline completely flooded with $ZEC news/takes.
despite the chaos, just goes to show how much mind-share the privacy sector been gaining…
better that, than remaining extremely fringe and obscure, right?
anyway, wishing them the best.
this industry is not for the faint of heart - and we need privacy projects in particular, to succeed.
crypto was about having an escape hatch from the existing system.
if we don’t continue to push privacy forward, then it all just feels like a limp cop-out.

First, a simple analogy 🏡
You buy an $800k house.
You put $600k down (your equity) and borrow $200k as a mortgage.
Scenario A:

🟣 Mortgage stays $200k
🟣 Equity jumps from $600k to $1M → 67% return on a 50% move
Scenario B:

That's leverage from fixed-dollar debt sitting on top of a volatile asset.

$ZEPH order books are very thin - it’s a scarce asset.
It doesn’t take much to move ZEPH’s price dramatically higher.
That will rocket back the stablecoin yield of $ZYS back to 20%
Both these things will happen soon.

Its wild to me how divisive @THORChain seems to be.
This protocol solved a "holy grail" problem the industry desperately needed to be solved and achieved "the impossible". Any coiner should be in appreciation for achieving something that we all use & take for granted today

sovereign digital money.

people will get on board because they're chasing the APY. but under the hood is a system that upholds the true values of permissionless finance.
we're going to see mercenary capital (defi yield farmers etc) get involved with $ZYS once the Ethereum bridge launches.
they're not going to care about the privacy / decentralisation / over-collateralisation properties of Zephyr.
if the APY is high enough, and sustainable, and easily accessible: they will come.

i anticipate this starts slowly at first (upon bridge launch). but there will be a moment when it clicks for a few bigger players.
