Reconciliation is about actions, not just words. This National Indigenous History Month, we’re continuing to take meaningful steps by investing in learning and understanding. Building on our Indigenous Cultural Awareness Training opportunities, we hosted learning sessions with Downie Wenjack Fund (DWF) at our Barrie, Thunder Bay and Toronto offices. These sessions help deepen our understanding of Indigenous histories, perspectives, and experiences, while strengthening our ongoing partnership with DWF.

⚡Storm outage alert Our crews are responding to outages as thunderstorms move through the province. ⚠️Stay safe during outages Your safety comes first: ✅Stay at least 10 metres back from any fallen power lines. ✅Report downed lines to 911 and Hydro One. ✅If using a generator, keep it outside and away from windows and ventilation. 🔄What happens after a storm We know outages are difficult. Here’s how restoration works: ✅Crews restore power to the largest number of customers first. ✅This means repairing main lines and critical infrastructure before smaller, local lines. 🔋Prepare for extended outages Planning ahead can make a big difference: ✅Restock your emergency kit with water, non-perishable food, and cash. ✅Download the Hydro One app to view the outage map and get updates: ow.ly/tPzc50ZbbRx. ✅Learn what to include in your kit: ow.ly/NNZU50ZbbSo.
