Will be learning and understanding the docker ecosystem, I don't want to pollute my new laptop with random config from application or tools that I will use only once. Will be adapting a docker-first development approach from now onwards. Will start project again from Monday!

Tomorrow we re-writing URL shortner from scratch with kickoff as template. Will try to deploy each and every up coming project on cloud with a minimal next.js frontend. Need to figure out a way to not waste lot of time on design so will be using a component lib like @shadcn

Done. Finally flow state. Presenting kickoff, a proper production grade express backend scaffolding. Will be writing end to end tests for it sooner, you can contribute too. Also code reviews are welcome, I'm open to learn from mistakes. github.com/yash-dot-com/kick…

Another basic but good learning project done. Now I'm confident with TS & it's typing system Thought it gets on my nerves sometimes but better have predictable code than straight up JS bs. Will need to learn a strictly typed language sooner, but first 4 projects are incoming

I've learnt - zod - typed express - middleware - standardized response handling - centralized error handling in express - redis hashes, sets, ordered sets, lists. - nextjs Need to complete a few projects to get a gig at campus get into GDG, have planned things accordingly

Nice roadmap! Instead of a year, if you spend enough time, you could go there in 6 months.

Wow designing tools for agents is a little bit tedious.

Done designing second project. I'm curious to see how fast & errorless can I ship (w/o AI obviously) with time constraints. also I'm proud to see that my system is actually making me efficient 😃 github.com/yash-dot-com/zapp…

the ability of choosing the right and simple tools is really crucial because it helps to put more time into solving actual problems rather than configurations and setups, this ability gives you more time and effort to spare on actual problem solving.
