Williams came out on top 10-9 over Melvin Miller to take third.

Iowa has picked up another from the transfer portal, this time it’s Oklahoma’s Carter Schubert.
Schubert plans on competing at 165, meaning he will have the opportunity to take over Mikey Caliendo’s spot in Iowa’s lineup. He told me he also considered VT, Ohio State, and Minnesota.
This past season Schubert wrestled 174 where he had wins over AAs Danny Wask, MJ Gaitan, and Cam Steed.

Greyson Pettit, a senior 132-pound wrestler announced his commitment to the Hawkeyes.
He won state as the #21 seed. He went through the #1,and #3, #4, and #5 seeds to win the title.

I’d like to give a shout out to Air Force SERE, Aircrew Flight Equipment, and Egress Systems. These 3 are responsible for aircrew survival gear, ejection and survival training on the ground. Counting the Kuwait shoot downs, that’s 9 for 9 aircrew ejection seat saves.

To give some context to the JRob/Gable/Spitz story. If I remember his story correctly at Gable Gala that announced Gable would have a statue outside CHA.
JRob was an alternate for 1972 Olympics. Gable and JRob went to the aquatics center to watch a friend compete (more 1/5)
