Saru mo Ki kara Ochiru (Even monkeys fall from trees): Nobody is absolutely perfect, and even the most seasoned experts make occasional mistakes. Forgive yourself when things go wrong. Acknowledge your errors with grace, laugh off the slip-up, and remember that perfection is an illusion we all drop.

“Misunderstood! It is a right fool’s word. Is it so bad then to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson

i still feel & believe that the best way to solve our problems in this country is for everyone to go & control their regions. The unitary system is not working. The more people don't realize this. The more we will continue to waste each others time.

I know someone who hasn't been with a woman in 5 years and he's married with 4 kids. He took his wife and kids abroad, while he was doing very well here,so he was shuttling between the US and Nigeria. Then, there was a business downside as it is bound to happen, but he still had lot of bucks. All these while,he was trying to get docs for his wife and had spent thousand of dollars but didn't work,so now he just took that big leap, since business was down and went to stay with them in the US. But he's a man of big faith, then he tries his own papers and it worked for him and his kids within 2 years of him getting there but before that happened,he had already started having issues with his wife that he nurtured from obscurity to opulence here before she ever dreamed of traveling out of the country. When he got to the US to stay, the woman just started coming up with different rules and he was like ,in this house that i pay for even from Nigeria? He went through a lot,but God shone through. He went through mental torture and breakdown but God saw him through. He hasn't been with his wife in 5 years and they still remain married and decided not to be with any woman at all. That's a strong willed man,it can't be me. But right now,he has his American passport and he's back on his feet shuttling between the two countries again. And the woman is still without her papers after 7 years in the US. Do you think people should keep living in loveless marriages just because of the kids and may be what people will say? @VikyInsights your take?

𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖? Ikot-Abasi women's riot. The women's war of December, 1929 wrongly called "Aba Women's Riot" did NOT take place in Aba, today’s Abia State. The war actually took place in Ikot-Abasi, in today’s Akwa Ibom State. History revisionists distorted the true historical account of the event, then changed the location and name and ethinc group of the people involved. The women’s riot started in Ikot-Abasi, the present day Akwa Ibom State and spread to other Opobo District as women from Opobo, Ogoni, Andoni, and other towns in today’s Rivers State & Akwa Ibom joined. The riot broke out when a colonial officer named captain Hunter fired a shot at the women who were protesting against the imposition of tax on every food item sold by the market women. Hundreds of women, mothers and sisters were k!lled by the colonial authorities during this riot. The leader of the women during this women’s war against oppression by the colonial government was Madam Udo Udoma, an Ibibio woman and the mother of Sir. Egbert Udoma, former Chief Justice of Uganda and grandmother of Udoma Udo Udoma, Former Minister of Budget and Planning under Buhari’s regime. She was the brave woman who disarmed a colonial police officer and broke it into two. The Women's War Memorial in Akwa Ibom State has the real historical account of this event preserved there with mock graves, relics and statue of those heroes. There is a hall of fame erected at Ikot-Abasi in honour of those women and names of the dead women are on it. It is wrong for anyone to attribute this Women’s war carried out by women from Today’s Akwa Ibom and Rivers State to Aba and erroneously named it “Aba Women’s Riot”, an event that never took place there.
