The last two weeks at the National Golf Invitational, teams had the chance to use electric push carts for the first time in college golf competition.
40% of the men's field used
@motocaddyusa while 70% of the women did.
The results? The men who used Motocaddy averaged 3.63 shots better than those who didn't. For the women, that rose to nearly six shots.
On the men's side, the entire
@GCU_MGolf team used Motocaddy and set a tournament scoring record at -52. Individual winner Nixon Lauritzen and runner-up Brody Leid, who went to a playoff at -18, both used the electric push carts.
Don't be surprised to see more electric push carts making their way into college golf soon.
