Visiting my second home, Erlangen, coming along with beautiful news. Yesterday, I was awarded the Ohm Prize during the graduation ceremony of @UniFAU for the best master’s thesis in the Physics Faculty in 2023. 🎊🍾
We published new results on imaging of optical standing wave patterns in tiny ring resonators. This enables real-time distance measurements of scattering targets with nanometer precision with applications in bio-sensing and light-matter interactions.
