Kenya and Wellcome Trust, an international charitable organisation dedicated to improving health through research, have had a 60-year partnership that has been mutually beneficial. The organisation works with Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) in a programme that focuses on fighting malaria, pneumonia, meningitis, HIV and malnutrition. Met Dr @JuliaGillard, the chair of Wellcome Trust and former Prime Minister of Australia, State House, Nairobi. She is in Kenya for the celebration of 60 years of Kenya-Wellcome Trust partnership.
