How in the world have we allowed ag water use to be considered a competitor to M&I and environmental water uses? Last time I checked, ag is a business, provides habitat to a wide variety of critters, and from what I can tell people still like to eat!

The LGMA board will now require its members to assess their fields to determine if risks such as proximity to animal operations exist. For fields that meet these criteria, it will be required to test product samples to determine if pathogens are present." bit.ly/2VrrXau

Prop 15’s supporters say it won’t hurt farmers & ranchers - earning another failing grade. The facts are producing fruit trees & vineyards, barns & processing plants, along with other ag-related improvements will see higher taxes.
