It’s suchhhhh a fun game, I’ve always loved X-2. I hated how you basically needed guide if you wanted a 100% run, but the game is still great and YRP was such a fun trio (and the dresspheres were a nice take on the job system)
X-2 gets a bad rap but honestly its a bubbly musical adventure that's full of magical girl vibes and romantic af. A time capsule of the 2000s, a reminder that FF can be silly and unapologetically fun. It's very sincere with its campiness and invites you to just sing and dance.

Love Odin Sphere to death.
But man, the way Leifthasir gave you the ability to nigh-infinitely combo enemies like this, with the enemies having basically zero way to stop you from doing this because they're ported directly from the OG

Naoki Hamaguchi shared new information about Final Fantasy VII Revelation:
- Level Cap is 99
- Some Weapon fights are story manditory, others are optional.
- Instead of encouraging players to restart on hard mode after beating the game, Revelation encourages players to finish all content on the world map.

The fandom does a great job of selling the series too. People are constantly posting clips of their playthroughs, so you can actually see how cool it is to experience those games

I wouldn’t even be mad if they didn’t gey a mainline FF. Hamaguchi said his next project after Revelation will also be a JRPG, so I’d gladly take a new IP from the Remake team if they’re staying together.
Square Enix, I beg of you. Keep Hamaguchi's VII Remake team together for a new project after Revelation is done and dusted. Together they're creating an incredible trilogy of AAA games over just seven years. Give them a mainline FF.
