For over two years, a building movement has brought together Jews, Muslims, and allies to organize around a vision of shared safety and solidarity. On Tuesday night, our movement’s power thundered up and down the ballot, in races big and small, from NYC to here in MA. 🧵

In his acceptance speech, Mayor-elect Mamdani said “we won because we insisted that no longer would politics be something that is done to us. Now, it is something that we do.” We are proud to stand by Mamdani, Al-Zubi, & millions more seizing this moment to shape a better world.

We know the fight for justice in Palestine is impossible to separate from the fight for economic & racial justice in the US. No more will we accept leaders who refuse to fight for the safety of Jews, Muslims, and all people. We are the Jewish future and the future starts now.

SOMERVILLE (continued) Importantly, Question 3 is a non-binding resolution. Burnley, Jr. is a stalwart defender of Palestinian freedom, who has spoken in favor of the resolution, and pledges to follow it if passed. (His opponent, Jake Wilson, opposes the resolution.)

CAMBRIDGE Cambridge For Palestine gave a questionnaire to this year's City Council candidates. Based on the responses, they've endorsed Ayah Al-Zubi for a #1 vote. (They also recommend ranking LaQueen Battle, Jivan Sobrinho-Wheeler, Stan Rivkin, & Sumbul Siddiqui in any order.)

Moulton’s choice to reject AIPAC contributions reflects the power of our movement & the shifting tides of public opinion. Instead of returning his donations to AIPAC, only furthering its warmongering agenda, we call on Moulton to direct this money to aid for Palestinians in Gaza.
I am returning AIPAC donations and refusing to accept any donations or support from them. The FEC filing I made yesterday reflects that we are returning donations.

As AIPAC continues to lobby for the US to send Israel billions of dollars of weapons to massacre Palestinians, @RepMoulton should use his power to ensure the bombing in Gaza doesn’t resume by joining 56 of his colleagues in co-sponsoring the Block the Bombs Act.
