A long journey of 900kms but it hardly took anytime for ‘Jamuna’ , the tigress brought from TATR to find its foot. For enhancing the genetic diversity of the Simlipal Tigers, it is anticipated to play a key role. It’s doing fine in its soft enclosure.

Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh: DFO South Kheri Sanjay Biswal says, "We received information two days ago that a calf had been killed in Gulripurwa village. So, we set up a cage in the area around the village yesterday morning, and as a result, we successfully rescued a leopard last evening. We hope that this rescue will reduce the fear of the leopard in the area, but our operation around Indira Park will continue as planned. We will keep monitoring the situation and maintain our current approach. I also urge everyone to remain cautious. We have checked the physical condition of the rescued leopard with a doctor, and it is completely fine. We will be taking it to the forest shortly"
