Refusal ensued, followed by a comprehensive reconsideration. Thankfully, the IRCC officer bought the argument and changed their decision. 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝟯 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 - 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 In this case, our consultant had a consultation in the year 2025 with a student who had been refused a study permit close to two years prior and was looking for potential solutions. We determined that the refusal was unreasonable and suggested a reconsideration. We did it in the year 2025 and, now, close to a year later, the client received good news that their study permit extension had been approved. The client now can either apply for the work permit or a new study permit by getting admission at a DLI. Many doors have now been opened for the client who was out of status and looking to go back. We look for solutions when none appears in sight. We strive to provide meaningful representation through effort and research, where all doors appear sealed shut in one's face.
