In your life, you will come across people who will say that #BOOKS, #MOVIES and #MUSIC are NOT IMPORTANT. I suggest you IGNORE those people... #findyourmentors

The #WorldCup kicks off tonight… and #Italy aren’t in it!! 😭 But the opening match takes place in the same stadium where 🇮🇹 and 🇩🇪 played the “Game of the Century” in 1970!

I love, love, LOVE F.W. Murnau's "SUNRISE." Almost 100 years old and still one of the most exciting movies I have ever seen! #cinephile

As I stare, an oil wheel comes Sailing by and I feel like Growing fins and falling in With the bricks, the bikes, the rusty tin I'll swim along without a care I'm eating sand when I need air You can bet your life I'll meet a pike Who'll wolf me down for tea tonight #poetry

Reasons why 'Three Little Bops' (1957) is a timeless masterpiece... • Jazz-scored retelling of 'The Three Little Pigs'. • Friz Freleng’s most seamless fusion of animation and music with Jazz not as soundtrack, but as narrative spine. • Shorty Rogers’ score driving the whole short with irresistible swing, while Stan Freberg’s sly, rhythmic narration (a rare non–Mel Blanc vocal credit) gives the piece its voice without a single line of dialogue.

Obviously 💔 about #Juve not qualifying for UCL but... #ElSha scoring in his last game for his longtime club #Roma was a heartwarming (and underrated) #SerieA moment.
What a way for Stephan El Shaarawy to bring his Roma career to an end 🥹 #VeronaRoma

More respect for Roberto Bettega and Luciano Moggi! Their exclusion from the 30th-anniversary celebration of UCL win is a further sign of this difficult moment in #Juventus' history.

Scenes from a parallel universe.
Los Javis’s Spanish film 'La Bola Negra’ received a 20-minute standing ovation at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. The longest of the year.

Am I the only one who was completely unconvinced by Alfonso Cuarón's depiction of the lower class in "Roma"? Maybe I'm too much of a #Pasolini fan??

I generally don't care/shouldn't care, but this is listed as an official critic's review of Elvis Crespo's album Suavemente on Allmusic. "Romantic Latin ballads"...? Why bother having a review at all? #merengue

Still remember this as the greatest moment in #Juventus history of my lifetime. I remember running around town waving a Juventus flag that entire day as a kid. Good times.

Umberto Eco, who owned 50,000 books, had this to say about home libraries: “It is foolish to think that you have to read all the books you buy, as it is foolish to criticize those who buy more books than they will ever be able to read. It would be like saying that you should use all the cutlery or glasses or screwdrivers or drill bits you bought before buying new ones. “There are things in life that we need to always have plenty of supplies, even if we will only use a small portion. “If, for example, we consider books as medicine, we understand that it is good to have many at home rather than a few: when you want to feel better, then you go to the ‘medicine closet’ and choose a book. Not a random one, but the right book for that moment. That’s why you should always have a nutrition choice! “Those who buy only one book, read only that one and then get rid of it. They simply apply the consumer mentality to books, that is, they consider them a consumer product, a good. Those who love books know that a book is anything but a commodity.”
