I had a thought. Being that Des Moines is a little blue dot in a Red Sea and @KimReynoldsIA is driving this state into the dirt. Like Louisville where I went to college, @DesMoinesGov should instate a city income tax. Like 1% to make improvements to the city.

Found Joni and Chuck on the steps of the capitol. There was a group of kids they were taking pictures with. We waited patiently and got thier attention. They walked towards us and saw my husband and I holding hands in our Pete shirts. Shook thier heads and proceeded inside.

Followed them towards the door politely asking for a photo and they ignored us. I’m a constituent is all I said and they ignored us. Those two don’t care about the people they serve. Or were too scared to meet someone with apprising views.
