$BBIG Lets talk about liars. This is the real reason Akoum dismissed his case while misleading everyone about the reason.
Attached are the meeting minutes from Akoum’s last hearing in court on 8/11/25 before he voluntary dismissed his case on 8/14/25.
All of his motions were denied by the judge including his motion for summary judgment. Firstly, it was denied on merit for being “overly broad and does not specify how, if at all, the guilty plea agreements necessarily mandate summary judgment against Mr. Vanderbilt and Mr. Farnsworth.” Beyond that, the judge made a much more devastating conclusion for the future of Akoum’s case:
“Court clarified Mr. Coulibaly can represent himself as an individual, however, he can not represent a business entity because he is not a licensed attorney in Nevada.” Further the court denied “the Motion for Summary Judgment WITHOUT PREJUDICE because Vinco Ventures Inc. can not represent itself.”
The court additionally ordered to Show Cause why the case should not be dismissed for Plaintiff's failure to retain counsel, with a hearing set for 9/15/25.
In summary, Akoum was at the end of his rope. He was faced with either being sanctioned and/or losing the case with prejudice, hiring an attorney in order to continue the case, or withdrawing; and he chose the latter.
This bizarre narrative that he was sabotaged by Shad, or that he was somehow the victim of bad actors is total hogwash. Akoum went on a several hour unhinged tirade to attack Shad with fabricated lies, but didn’t once give a single fact about what happened in his case. Did he even pick up the phone, as Hamrick did, to ask about Haber representing him? My guess is no. What’s sad is that I bet if he would’ve just asked for help, he’d still have an active case. As much as I’ve grown to dislike him personally, I would’ve been supportive of any outcome that helps shareholders.
