Labour Housing Secretary @SteveReedMP ranked even lower than @RobertJenrick when he was a Conservative and it's not by me but by people who have really suffered at the hands of government ineptitude.
Nine years on from Grenfell, Ed Daffarn and Grenfell United continue to show extraordinary dignity in the face of unimaginable suffering. Their loss of faith in @UKLabour to deliver change should shame those in power.

My thoughts and payers are for the bereaved and for justice for them to come swiftly after waiting so long. However disturbingly, right now Grenfell Inquiry KC Stephanie Barwise is exposing Greenwich Council's serious building safety failures putting 1000 lives at risk living in unsafe flats and Greenwich Council is attempting to silence her for supporting the residents. What an insult to the victims of Grenfell. Read the KC's shocking account here. stephaniebarwise.substack.co…

Motivation of BTL by Labour, not exactly supporting the rental market.
44% of homes listed for sale in the past 3 years never found a buyer, according to Zoopla. For BTL landlords, that's before you factor in S21 being gone — regaining possession to sell now takes 4 months if your tenant cooperates, 6–9 months if it goes to court. Fail to sell after gaining possession? You can't re-let for 12 months. #UKProperty #HousingMarket #btl

This is just political showmanship from Keir Starmer. The Government is celebrating stopping one tanker in the Channel, yet Britain still allows Russian gas to enter our country if it's refined in a third country. If we're still indirectly funding Russia's war machine, what exactly does stopping a single ship achieve?
In the early hours of this morning, I directed our Armed Forces to intercept a shadow fleet oil tanker attempting to pass through the English Channel. This successful operation delivers yet another blow to Russia and reminds those fueling Putin's war in Ukraine that we will not let them hide. I want to thank those involved, including our Armed Forces and law enforcement officers who keep this country safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Today marks nine years since 72 people tragically lost their lives at #Grenfell Tower. Find out from Inclusion London's Chair Adam Gabsi why the Government need to take urgent action on fire safety to prevent the next Grenfell: buff.ly/ex9x5Ku

🚨 THE MASK HAS COMPLETELY SLIPPED. Keir Starmer is banning social media for teenagers, but guess which app is magically exempt? Bluesky. 🤡 They are blocking every platform that allows independent free speech, while leaving the ultimate left wing echo chamber wide open. This was never about child safety. It is a highly coordinated plot to trap your kids in a digital bubble and brainwash them with pure establishment propaganda. They want total control over what the next generation is allowed to think. RT if you refuse to let the Labour elite indoctrinate our children! 🇬🇧🔥

No company would ever say this out loud. Yet many #disabled people experience it every day. Not through obvious discrimination, but through hiring processes, workplace cultures, and assumptions that quietly exclude them before they ever get the chance to prove what they can do. linkedin.com/posts/abletowor…

The Tories introduced the Police Race Action Plan which orders officers to “not be colour blind”, to “not treat people the same” and to “prioritise offences that cause the most harm to ethnic minorities”. Then the Henry Nowak bodycam footage proves the tragic logical conclusion of such racist policies. Now this Tory MP orders you not to believe your own eyes and ears. This is why the Tory Party must be totally destroyed as a political force. DO NOT LET THEM DO IT AGAIN.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but Britain isn’t a racist country and nor is it “a two-tier state - against white people”. Trying to whip up the politics of grievance will be a genie that’s difficult to put back into the bottle. Nigel Farage isn’t stupid, he knows that.

I mean this respectfully. We have a bunch of complete morons running our country. They introduce a law designed to protect renters, but have instead created more evictions, homelessness, and landlords selling up. They introduce tax policies that were meant to help workers but have instead created higher unemployment, business shutting down, and heightened cost of living pressures. Yet, local authorities that are now facing budget cuts will have to bear the brunt of this calamitous and clueless coterie of economic vandals.

Starmer does not want to shut down X to protect your children. He wants to shut it down to protect himself and @elonmusk is the only reason he cannot. Child safety. AI images. Misinformation. All lies. They cannot control X. That is the only reason it needs to be shut down. Here is the unit they use to control everything else. The UK government has a secret unit called RICU. It sits inside the Home Office. It employs psychologists, marketing experts and former intelligence officers. Its job is to control what you think after a terror attack or migrant attack happens. After Manchester. After Southport. After every major attack on British soil. RICU decides the narrative. What gets amplified. What gets buried. What communities are told to say publicly. After Manchester they pushed "Don't Look Back In Anger" across every platform and every news outlet. Grieving parents were pointed toward that message. The anger was managed. The questions were buried. RICU classifies believing that Western culture is under threat from mass immigration as a right wing extremist narrative to be shut down. A government unit. Paid for by you. Deciding which of your thoughts are acceptable. For years it worked. They controlled the newspapers. They controlled the BBC. They controlled the aftermath of every attack before you even knew what had happened and after Southport the Home Office admitted it in Parliament. They worked directly with social media platforms to remove content they decided you should not see. Not illegal content. Content that did not fit the narrative. Gone. Then came X. The video of Stephen Ogilvie's attack in Belfast was on X before RICU could get anywhere near it. The truth about Southport spread on X before the managed narrative was ready. The Burnley stabbing. The Scotland assault. The one week list. All of it on X. Unmanaged. Uncontrolled. Real. That is why he wants to shut it down. Not your children. You. That is why free speech in Britain depends on X.

Under Labour we’ve no money for defence but we’re looking after 100,000 illegal immigrants who shouldn’t be here, 26,000 of them have been in Britain for over 10 years. What a failure of government, we deserve so much better than this.

X is banned for under 16s, but Bluesky isn't. X is a platform where people regularly share videos of crime, protests, political scandals and government failures. The other is overwhelmingly left wing and far more sympathetic to the establishment, with no videos of crime, or government failure. Naturally children, who have no other options, are now going to flood onto Bluesky and only see left leaning viewpoints. This is a two tier social media ban.
🚨NEW: Bluesky will not be included in the under-16s social media ban
