ЁЯЪл Drug Abuse Awareness Session ЁЯЪл
To combat the rising menace of drug abuse among youth, the Punjab Red Cross Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA), Gurdaspur organized an impactful Drug Awareness and Prevention Lecture at St. Kabir Public Senior Secondary School, Village Bakhatpur, Gurdaspur.
Under the kind guidance and support of S. Shivdular Singh Dhillon, IAS (Retd.), Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, Chandigarh, the session aimed to educate and inspire students about the harmful effects of drug addiction and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life.
The expert team from IRCA Gurdaspur тАФ Sh. Raghbir Singh, Mrs. Komalpreet Kaur, and Ms. Abha Sharma тАФ delivered an informative and engaging lecture covering:
тЬЕ Causes and harmful effects of drug abuse
тЬЕ Early warning signs of addiction
тЬЕ Importance of timely intervention and strong support systems
The speakers motivated students with a powerful message:

The school management highly appreciated this noble initiative and extended their gratitude to the Red Cross team for spreading awareness among the youth.
At the conclusion of the session, students took a solemn pledge to stay away from all forms of drugs and to become ambassadors of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA).
