Ninth grader Paul Scott is blind. He still runs cross country with the help of Rebel Hays, a 4th grader, who guides him with a rope. Rebel trains everyday to keep up with the older kids because he doesn't want to let Paul down.
True accessibility goes beyond checking boxes. It enables full participation by all people. In honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (#GAAD), we are celebrating how far we've come and acknowledging how far we still have to go.
