🚨 NEW STUDY: College Students Are Turning to AI for Mental Health Support 🔗 Website: mentalhealthaddictionlawfirm… (mentalhealthaddictionlawfirm…) 📘 Free E-Book: marchmanactbook.com (marchmanactbook.com/) 📰 Article: massgeneralbrigham.org/en/ab… A new study from Mass General Brigham found that nearly 1 in 5 college students reported using artificial intelligence for mental health support. More concerning, students experiencing severe depression, anxiety, suicidality, and other significant mental health challenges were far more likely to rely on AI than their peers. While AI can provide instant access, anonymity, and around-the-clock availability, it raises an important question: Should young people facing serious mental health challenges be turning to a chatbot instead of a trained mental health professional? Researchers expressed concern that students who are most vulnerable may be using AI as a substitute for human connection, therapy, and professional treatment. They also noted that these tools remain largely unregulated and may not always recognize when someone is experiencing a mental health crisis. Technology can be a helpful tool, but it should never replace meaningful human relationships, professional treatment, family support, and evidence-based care. If your loved one is struggling with mental illness, depression, anxiety, or substance use, early intervention matters. Waiting for the crisis to get worse is rarely the answer. #MentalHealth #MentalHealthAwareness #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Depression #Anxiety #CollegeStudents #SubstanceUseDisorder #AddictionRecovery #MentalHealthMatters #FamilySupport #BehavioralHealth @NIMHgov @NIDAnews @SAMHSA @NIH @Active_Minds @jedfoundation

🍔 WHY ARE WE EATING 23% MORE THAN WE DID IN THE 1970s? 🍔 🔗 Website: mentalhealthaddictionlawfirm… (mentalhealthaddictionlawfirm…) 📘 Free E-Book: marchmanactbook.com (marchmanactbook.com/) 📰 Article: psychologytoday.com/us/blog/… A new article highlights a startling trend: Americans are consuming approximately 23% more calories today than they did in the 1970s. The explanation isn't simply a lack of willpower. Researchers point to larger portion sizes, highly processed foods, constant access to food, aggressive marketing, and changes in our environment that encourage overconsumption. The same principle applies to substance use disorders and many mental health conditions. When people are surrounded by substances, unhealthy coping mechanisms, social pressures, and an environment designed to trigger cravings, the problem becomes much bigger than personal choice. Whether it's food, alcohol, marijuana, kratom, opioids, or other addictive substances, understanding the role of the environment is critical to understanding recovery. Successful recovery often requires more than motivation—it requires changing the environment, building structure, establishing accountability, and creating a support system that promotes long-term health. The question isn't why people struggle. The question is whether families are willing to take action before the consequences become irreversible. #MentalHealth #AddictionRecovery #SubstanceUseDisorder #Recovery #MentalHealthAwareness #Obesity #FoodAddiction #BehavioralHealth #FamilyIntervention #MarchmanAct #RecoveryIsPossible #AddictionAwareness @PsychToday @NIDAnews @DrugFreeKids @LearnAboutSAM @samquinones7
