In 2021, women and children from Napranum Community joined together to #write and #illustrate the book in English and Thaynakwith language. The story beautifully documents children’s experiences of being on Country with family and Elders.
It is the anniversary of the Torres Strait Islander Flag, when the late Bernard Namok Senior from Thursday Island won the design competition for the flag and it was presented to the people 💚💙💙💚
