These remarkable organizations are strengthening the systems that shape pediatric health care, early childhood education, and economic empowerment around the world. ChildLife Foundation (@ChildLifePak) is slashing the child mortality rate across Pakistan. The organization transforms the country’s pediatric emergency care system by bringing new technologies, training, and processes into government-run facilities, and connecting them to pediatric specialists via a nationwide telemedicine network. SmartStart Early Learning (@SmartStartSA) is shifting the educational and economic trajectories of marginalized communities across South Africa. Using an innovative social franchise model, the organization increases access to high-quality early learning for children, while creating stable careers for thousands of underemployed community members. Indus Action (@IndusAction) ensures families across India have the resources they need to thrive. They help citizens navigate complex government systems to access all the public benefits they are eligible for, such as scholarships or maternity support. Through deep partnership with government and communities, each 2026 Awardee has found a way to make existing systems more responsive to the people they were built to serve—and to do so in a way that lasts.
