Ukraine and the IMF @IMFNews have reached a staff-level agreement on the review of the Extended Fund Facility program. This agreement is expected to be considered by the IMF Executive Board in the coming weeks. Once approved, it will open the way for Ukraine to receive the next $690 million tranche within the program. Ukraine has met all criteria and indicative targets as of the end of March. We also agreed on an updated timeline for the reforms already included in the program. The measures under the EFF help keep Ukraine’s financial system resilient, even as Russia’s attacks continue. The total program amounts to $8.1 billion. The first tranche of $1.5 billion has already been transferred to Ukraine’s State Budget.
