Album Review
Infinite P - Blue Flames
infinitepakaipeezy.bandcamp.…
Blue Flames is an instrumental album from the producer Infinite P. Coming out of Canada, it’s a place we’ll know for dope Hip-Hop. And Infinite P is making his own mark with his soulful production. 20 tracks here but each one kept under 2 minutes, things move along quick here, so let me jump in!
This is a strong beat tape, it starts off strong and rarely lets up off the gas. Across 20 songs of course there are a few that I like a bit less than the rest, like Equator, Guitor On Fire & When Things Get Heated. These songs stray just a bit outside of what I really love here which is the soulful and jazzy samples. But also not songs that are bad or I’d skip over, especially when I know the tracks are short. There’s nothing here you need to skip past like that.
For the most part Blue Flames sticks to an upbeat and uplifting sound which I really like. But there are moments when the production gets darker and more ominous like In The Neck With A Pen, Skyfire, Steamroom & The Barrel Is Hot, and when the mood turns on these couple of tracks I really enjoyed those beats too. Besides those 4 some of my other favorite tracks here are Baby Ooh Baby, Da Arsonist, Mercury Rising, That Old Feelin’ & Torch Da Blunt.
An impressive beat tape here from Infinite P! blue Flames isn’t just titled that for nothing, it’s bringing some real heat. Out on Bandcamp and YouTube, check it out for yourself and support!
