What is more loving than warning someone about eternal consequences?
What is more hateful than seeing danger and saying nothing?
Many people define love as affirmation. Scripture defines love differently. Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
In a culture that increasingly treats disagreement as hatred, Christians face a choice:
Will we follow cultural approval or biblical truth?
The issue is not whether a sin is popular.
The issue is whether God has spoken.
The issue is not whether a message is offensive.
The issue is whether it is true.
The following passages are not from a political movement, a denomination, or a social commentator.
They are from the Word of God.
Those who choose homosexuality… according to Romans 1:26-32:
- have the Wrath of God
- hold the Truth in Unrighteousness
- they are Without Excuse
- glorify him Not as God
- are Unthankful
- are Vain in their Imaginations
- their Foolish hearts are Darkened
- Professing themselves to be wise, they become Fools
- are given over to Uncleanness through the Lusts of their own hearts
- they Dishonour their own bodies between themselves
- change the Truth of God into a Lie
- have Vile Affections
Women did change the natural use into that which is Against Nature
Men, leaving the Natural Use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly
- Do Not retain God in their knowledge
- have a Reprobate Mind
Are FILLED with…
- ALL Unrighteousness
- Fornication
- Wickedness
- Covetousness
- Maliciousness
- FULL of Envy
- Murder
- Debate
- Deceit
- Malignity
Are…
Whisperers
Backbiters
Haters of God
Despiteful
Proud
Boasters
Inventors of Evil Things
Disobedient to parents
Without Understanding
Covenantbreakers
Without Natural Affection
Implacable
Unmerciful
Romans 1:32
Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die (at judgement day. The second death), they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
This is part of the Gospel of Christ that Paul wasn’t ashamed of…
This scripture was VERY CLEAR… and in the NT connected with the Gospel of Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:9-12
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And SUCH WERE some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
Notice that Paul does not stop with condemnation.
“AND SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU…”
The gospel is not a message of hopelessness.
It is a message of repentance, forgiveness, cleansing, sanctification, and new life through Jesus Christ.
The same God who judges sin also offers mercy through Christ.
The call of the gospel is not affirmation of sin.
The call of the gospel is repentance and faith.
Truth without grace becomes harsh.
Grace without truth becomes deception.
The gospel offers both.
Truth still matters.
Eternity still matters.
The gospel still saves.
