"Charles the Third, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of his other Realms and Territories, King, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith" Rest of what he said is shite but we are a Christian nation legally

Our head of state has by doctrine the divine right to rule, they are head of the state religion and that church gets an active role in government (bishops in the lord's) there's still mandated daily collective worship that is “wholly or mainly of Christian character” in schools

Then you have all the physical evidence - hundreds of bits of kit including full Saturn V rockets and flight ready spacecraft and not one person has ever identified a discrepancy with what exits and what they say it can do. Including a complete working guidance computer

And then you have the soviet union tracking the missions and developing their own moon mission including flying hardware in orbit and around the moon. If it was impossible or faked why wouldn't they say so?

Spacex are the worlds largest satellite builder/operator and run the only private orbital crew vehicle business available
I noticed a stark difference between SpaceX and Blue Origin SpaceX acts like a *launch company* while Blue acts like a *space company* If SpaceX doesn’t figure out Starship soon and start doing things other than launch & telecommunications, I’ll be the first one to say that: Blue Origin, in the next decade, could end up being a more capable space company than SpaceX.

I choose to win by not playing
To arrive from the West at Paddington Station is to win first prize in London’s locational lottery. Terminal envy.

One of the few "high spec" tools my ship was supplied with was cordless dysons for the stewards. Batteries or motors all died in a year of daily use. Now have a fleet of regular and handheld Henries. Absolutely zero problems
Crazy to me how Dysons cost £800, constantly need maintenance and often don't work very well, all whilst being built overseas by cheap labour. Meanwhile Henrys cost £110, never go wrong, are incredibly effective, yet are all built in Somerset. Makes you think!

They're going to be replacing some monoculture timber farming land with solar, not cutting down ecologically vital ancient woodland. But of course they went for an evocative picture instead of a truthful one

Or they could’ve been firing a shot across their bowels, stopping them, seizing the boats and the drugs and prosecuting them however, people like that are prosecuted. We don’t need to act like gangsters.

"The only danger to Estonia, like that of Finland, is in their creeping defense budgets" You're either a Kremlin stooge or their most useful idiot
Replying to @InfoBoothy
America is an imperial autocracy, and NATO is its primary instrument of expanding and enforcing that hegemony as seen in Libya. You cannot venerate Trump’s America to Putin’s Russia, sorry. The only danger to Estonia, like that of Finland, is in their creeping defense budgets

And the incursions on the sovereignty of Poland and Estonia? I'm guessing by those soviet icons in your name you're actually quite fond of the russian occupation of eastern Europe.
Putin’s hordes will be crossing the Channel any moment now! Blow the whistles and send the men over the hill already!

Ah yes unsourced Reddit posts about the police ignoring breaking and entering and not asking for any evidence. And naturally everyone is sure the squatters are immigrants because of course they have a deep understanding of UK property law

no way I'm seeing moaning about assembling warhammer Reason "grey hordes" exist is because assembly kicks ass - rapidly turning plastic bitz into a soldier ready to play. The horror comes with realising you now gotta paint the lot If assembly crushes him, painting will kill him

So if the Liberal Democrats wave hundreds of English and British flags at their annual conference, it’s ‘tolerant’ and ‘inclusive’. But if a working-class person sticks one on a lamp post, it’s ‘divisive’ and ‘hostile’. The sneering arrogance knows no bounds.

James cleverly giving us exactly the required argument. Yes compared to 14 years of the most brazen and constant scandal and corruption this labour government is a titan of competence and ethical leadership
I know Labour loyalists will fill the replies with “14 years…” But I cannot believe how useless, damaging, and self serving this Labour government is. Socially, economically, and diplomatically they are doing lasting (perhaps permanent) damage to the country that I love.

Unfortunately you can't distinguish between England and Britain. Or between the elected government of Britain (on a manifesto of recognition of Palestine) or the irrelevant remnants of the Tory party
Just spoke with the leader of the Conservative Party in the UK @KemiBadenoch. I emphasized the moral severity and diplomatic error in the British government's decision to recognize a "Palestinian state". She expressed, as she had publicly done before, her fierce opposition to the British government's decision. I expressed our appreciation for her position. I also said that we know we have more friends in the UK and we know how to distinguish between the English people and the English government. We agreed to remain in contact and I invited her to visit Israel.

The biggest point I see people missing (mostly deliberately) about the various Kirk quotes being bandied around. You can weasel all kinds of "he was just talking about x" arguments but at the end of the day these are not the words of a man interested in peace or harmony
Racism isn't just loudly saying you think a race is inferior. It's much more effective to veil prejudice in being "concerned" or "just talking sense" or "worried about how it affects regular folks"

It doesn't matter especially if these quotes don't explicitly declare the inferiority of black people. They clearly are not the words of some who cares if they make black people sound inferior. They carefully skirt what can be construed as "reasonable debate" if you're credulous
