Last night I press-ganged a mass spec engineer at a live music night, just to interview the heck out of him for copywriting purposes.
This is the monster that content marketing for #biotech has turned me into 🤠
Would love to add that as a disabled person there have been so many times I’ve questioned my chance of a career
I feel so privileged to work, and to love what I do every day
Bipolar disorder does not have to mean the end of a career in STEM. Far from it

The future of vegan and alternative protein foods remains so uncertain - even though we recognize the need to diversify and adjust our food supply chain

Looking to interview inspirational scientists from the LGBTQ community
For publication during Pride Month🏳️🌈
If you have someone in mind, please send them my way!
P.S: you don't have to have done a tonne of advocacy to be inspirational!❤️🙂

Can Yogurt Support the Gut Microbiome❓
"Humans have been raising cattle and eating fermented foods for millennia, but only recently have we gained the understanding and the tools to develop health-promoting dairy foods based on scientific data".

Its only since becoming a full time technical writer that I've come to realise how truly threatening
"Hi John. Hope you're well"
actually sounds. Like - yes, John. You better hope that you're well.
You could be riddled with parasites that you don't even know about 👽
A job ad has gone viral for requiring their applicants to be WEDDED to the role
Science ads say much the same thing, in fewer words (eg. relocate, unpaid overtime)
The discourse seems to be passing STEM by this morning?

#AcademicTwitter who are the best academics in Arts & Humanities to follow on Twitter or LinkedIn? Not just for interesting research but who are really good at social media? #AcademicChatter#humanities
Does anyone else get horrendous flu every time they do a Science Festival?
It was totally worth it, but I've been feeling like absolute death since Sunday

The biggest legacy that academia has left in my life could be the fact that I now fear arriving somewhere that doesn't have one of those coffee dispensers
