Anyone else not buying these statistics?

Such incredible news & shows how impt the #HPV vaccine is, so that (along with #CervicalScreening), one day #CervicalCancer can be eliminated. Congrats to everyone involved but of course a biased extra shout out to my amazing former @JoTrust colleagues. bbc.co.uk/news/health-591486…

It's been a long time since I tweeted anything, but after the onslaught of the 'COVID reality' I think I'm finally ready to get back to my original mission of trying to raise awareness about the side effects of the #lletz procedure that doctors didn't warn me about

I'm avoiding it because I was never warned about the side effects of those 'effective treatments'. Informed consent is sadly lacking.
Too many menopausal women are avoiding cervical screening due to pain as a result of vaginal dryness and are missing out on effective treatments. More information here bit.ly/3wk3bHw @carolynharris24 @LizEarleMe @balanceMeno

As a campaign for informed consent we are disgusted to see The Vagina Museum offering a pop up vaccination centre and reduced entrance fee in return for getting jabbed. This is not how informed consent works. So disappointing to see.
POP UP VACCINE CENTRE TODAY 17th JULY AT @camdenmarket! Free for anyone 18 , first or second dose (after 8 wks), first floor of the Provender building, just around the corner from us. If you get jabbed today, show your vaccine card for a discount at the VM and many other stalls!

Just been speaking to a journalist who had the LLETZ herself. Dear doctors, if you don’t want the truth to come out you need to stop performing the procedure on those who write for a living 😉This is how we heal from your butchery.

Yep. Propaganda & coercion instead of balanced evidence is what drives #NHS screening.

Any thoughts on this? Although I don’t do smears personally I know this move will be welcome by survivors of sexual violence.
Over 31,000 women will be offered kits to carry out smear tests in the privacy & convenience of their own homes in a trial. Cervical screening is life-saving, so this is a great step forward england.nhs.uk/2021/02/nhs-g…

This is good news and well presented, the visual is useful and also the key questions to ask. Will @RCObsGyn be doing something similar for the updated #hysteroscopy information?
Guidelines about lletz side effects have now changed to give a fuller picture of the risks. A rare piece of good news! Hopefully they’ll be more and cervical nerves will actually be studied properly! Thanks @RCObsGyn rcog.org.uk/en/patients/pati…

2. Leep procedures, research the long term side effects that many women are reporting after having them such as sexual dysfunction, nerve damage, trauma, and fertility problems. Stop telling us it's all in our heads. @IntactCervix

So all October long I'm going to be working to ensure that as many people as possible leave this month with an understanding of informed consent, all cause mortality, over testing, false positives, and more! I'm tired of the #PinkRibbonGag

For a very long time I've felt talking about the harms and risks of cancer screening was taboo, like I was being silenced every time I shared how screening has hurt me, like I was being gaged so to speak. But I'm tired of that. Screening has both risks and benefits.

While science is an important part of medicine, is it possible .... That our over-reliance on incomplete, conflicted and corrupt science is a key contributor to the current state of chronic disease and mental health? Feel free to share image.

Heard on Twitter: "I had to block that account. I have zero patience for wilful misinformation." 🙉🙊🙈 I also have zero patience for anyone whose opinion doesn't fit my confirmation bias.

Not sure if this comment is meant to insult patients, but yikes, google told me a lot about what my doctor didn’t know about cervical neurology.

I support "good" Integrative Medicine. Sadly the disinformation campaign is continuing. I have no issue whatsoever if people block or mute me as a result of trying to improve health outcomes and healthcare. But please, don't block people then lie about them behind your block.

Surely, Dr. Gunter, Professor Caulfield and Dr. Stea have never attended a spoon-bending session -- but that doesn't prevent them from debunking the concept. Hope they can correct me if I'm wrong. #DoFactsMatter #HealthEntertainment #GoopLike
Why would I share a spoon-bending story in the middle of the #COVID19 pandemic? Because we all have to start challenging our preconceived notions and our confirmation bias. We need to #ThinkDifferently My Spoon-bending Story myhealthycommunity.ca/blogs/…
