It's spring 2026 and hysteroscopy nurses tell women to SWEAR IF IT HURTS! Male consultant says hysteroscopy isn't barbaric. Records woman's 8/10 pain score as 3/10. Medical misogyny? @rebeccamallick @DrNighatArif @PSCommissioner @GillianMerron @NHSEngland @JanePlumb

So when GPs get a letter about Outpatient #Hysteroscopy it normally says well tolerated even when the patient screamed shouted stop or passed out vomited with the extreme pain. The notes are written to cover the backs of clinicians so they can deny all if the women complains

Proof of concealment by medical professionals has blocked justice for countless #mesh-injured #women. The #LimitationAct currently bars our path โ€” even when clear evidence of gaslighting and concealment emerges years later. #Solicitors refuse cases because of the โ€œexpert shieldโ€ risks. There cannot be #RuleofLaw with these barriers in place. โœ…Extend the Limitation period for victims. #RedressNow #PelvicMesh #MeshInjured

Referred a patient on the #cancer pathway, the referral got rejected because some boxes were ticked outside and not inside - can anyone even imagine such a pedantic behaviour in referral pathways for something?! Significant delay in #patientcare Raised #complaint to @BSol_ICS

Thames Water wants to set its own rules. The Board of Ofwat is split over whether to let them. Tip the scales in favour of people and planet: email the Board now, and urge them to reject Thames Water's creditors @We_OwnIt weownit.org.uk/stop-thames-wโ€ฆ

If abortion is "murder," then: โ€“ Skipping child support = theft โ€“ Denying maternity care = a*sault โ€“ Cutting food stamps = manslaughter But sure, focus on the uterus.

@HealthAPPG @CommonsWEC @RachelTaylorMP @annalouisedixon @alexbrewer @DrNighatArif Past Presidents of RCOG did either nothing or very little to get anaesthetic informed consent for #Hysteroscopy patients look who the past 4 are ? Why could that be ?
The 'vocal local' was invented by a charity working in developing countries where safe anaesthesia/analgesia isn't always available. That @NHSuk considers it appropriate in 21st century Britain is shocking. But then again, it's only considered appropriate for women...

Too many doctors throw the โ€œanxietyโ€ diagnosis around. Itโ€™s a real diagnosis that should be made by a psychiatrist or psychologist. Physiological causes should always be ruled out first. When you step out of your lane to label a patient this way, you cause tremendous harm
it's funny that MDs who otherwise don't treat or dx mental illness think they can dx anxiety/hypochondria specifically, but other issues actually related to their area they pretend to be ignorant about. like specialists refusing to treat side fx of drugs they rx

All those murdered kids in schools could've cured cancer Those kids left with abusive parents could've cured cancer Those kids in Gaza and Iran could've cured cancer It was never about the children.

"The baby you abOrtEd could've cured cancer." So could the women you kept in the kitchen, denied education, autonomy? and basic human rights. You didn't care about them either.

Kedar Kale @TEWV your coercive leadership of TEWVโ€™s 14โ€‘timesโ€‘higher ECT regime is a humanโ€‘rights scandal โ€” it will be a core part of the public inquiry. Data from @ReadReadJ show many patients report no benefit and serious harm. #TEWV #StatutoryPublicInquiry

HMRC lost ยฃ500bn last year due to the richest avoiding tax. That's enough to re-arm the country and build 100 new hospitals with 50,000 new nurses. Why do the rich hate this country?
Community note
HMRC's total tax gap for 2023/24 is ยฃ46.8 billion, not ยฃ500 billion; tax avoidance accounts for only ยฃ0.7 billion of it. gov.uk/government/staโ€ฆ gov.uk/government/staโ€ฆ

Love how the right are NOW complaining about our NHS. Before 2010 we had one the best healthcare systems in the world. Guess who fucked it? Yeah thatโ€™s right, Tories did. You all had 14 years to say something but chose not to. Maybe sit the fuck down aye!

How about the NHS starts with no longer refusing to adopt the painless WID-Easy swab test for womb cancer, which has a much higher accuracy rate than the agony of hysteroscopy, which they insist on inflicting on women without pain relief just to save money?
Making sure women have more choice, voice and power in the NHS. Tackling the everyday sexism and medical misogyny that sees women dismissed and caused avoidable harm. Faster access to better care. Proud to launch the @UKLabour Governmentโ€™s Womenโ€™s Health Strategy today ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป

If millions on Universal Credit are working, the issue isn't dependency, it's pay. When wages don't cover basic living costs, the state ends up topping them up.
Britain is home to 43.4 million working age people. 8.4 million are now on Universal Credit. That's nearly 1 in 5 people relying on benefits. And that number is only growing, meaning that hard-working people will end up paying even more tax in future. This cannot go on.
