Anthropic warned that frontier AI may be moving faster than society can govern it. Fair. But for businesses, the horse may already be out of the barn. AI is already inside tools, vendors, workflows, connectors, and business platforms. The question now is governance.

Feel-Good Friday thought: The business owners asking “nerdy” AI governance questions right now? They may be the ones who win in the end. Every good 80s movie taught us that. Security. Governance. Common sense. Very nerdy. Very smart. #AI #CyberSecurity #FeelGoodFriday

A very tech-literate person recently shared an AI “oops” moment. They searched for ChatGPT, clicked what looked like the right result, and landed on a different AI platform. But this is exactly how shadow AI happens. Not rebellion. Not recklessness. Just someone rushing.

We’re seeing a major increase in clients requesting approval for AI integrations into Microsoft 365. The productivity benefits are real. So are the risks. Many AI tools can access email, documents, Teams chats, SharePoint, and other sensitive business information once approved.

That doesn’t automatically make them unsafe — but it DOES mean organizations need to evaluate: • where data goes • how it’s processed • who can access it • compliance implications • vendor governance policies

Especially for legal, financial, healthcare, and regulated industries. The rush to “save time” shouldn’t bypass security review. Worth the read before clicking “approve” on the next AI tool: integramsp.com/2026/05/28/ai… #CyberSecurity #AI #Microsoft365 #InformationSecurity #ShadowAI

AI governance may arrive through insurers, vendors and operational expectations long before formal regulation catches up. For most businesses, the safer path is likely using AI already embedded into trusted enterprise platforms instead of disconnected public AI tools

AI absolutely has environmental costs. That conversation matters. But there is also growing evidence that AI is helping optimize power grids, improve logistics efficiency, strengthen renewable energy systems and support smarter infrastructure management.
