Ah yes. We all know lines of code are a direct correlation of quality and efficiency.
Today, Anthropic engineers on average ship 8x as much code per quarter as they did compared to 2021-2025.

Amen to that
Crazy how backwards this is. The "yes guy" is now in infinite supply, just type `claude` and you've got a new one. The "no guy" is the one in demand: the one who points out all the problems with all the slop your slopcannons are trying to merge to prod.

Models are black boxes, if you let them run commands without reviewing you’re basically gambling with your data and it’s 100% on you.

Have you seen the new /pulls view on GitHub, yet? If you opt in to the new experience, your pull requests get WAY more organized, with everything from custom views to collapsible sections to filtering by org and repo.

I feel the move from "Editor with AI" to "AI with editor" is needed, IMO it's not quite there yet but it's a good start.
We’re introducing Cursor 3. It is simpler, more powerful, and built for a world where all code is written by agents, while keeping the depth of a development environment.

sent this to the team today everything great comes from being able to delay gratification for as long as possible and it feels like we're collectively losing our ability to do that

Rails becoming hype thanks to LLMs was not in my 2026 bingo but I'll take it !
I think people are sleeping a bit on how much Ruby on Rails Claude Code is a *crazy unlock* - I mean Rails was designed for people who love syntactic sugar, and LLMs are sugar fiends.
