A 16-year-old girl from Hyderabad went to her aunt's house in Tirupati for summer vacation. Her aunt’s husband Ramamurthy, took her private photos and videos and then threatened her that he will post those on social media and raped her. The girl, who came back to Hyderabad, but her mother realised she was mentally disturbed. She sat down with her daughter and spoke to her and then got all the details. Mother of the victim filed a complaint in Jagadgirigutta police station in Hyderabad. A zero FIR was registered and the case is now transferred to Tirupati East PS. Police have registered cases against the accused Ramamurthy under POCSO Act.
