I once took ~2 minutes to sit in a chair on the production floor. Sore, tired & my eyes were watering. My shift superintendent, at the time, approached me to ask what I was doing.
I told him, & his response was, "If they see you sitting down, everyone will want a sit-down job."
It’s really disturbing that “NO SITTING, SITTING LOOKS BAD TO THE CUSTOMER” in retail and hospitality jobs is just accepted. I'm a human not a robot fgs, my body aches because it's not supposed to stand up for 9 hours a day lmao
