One of the most powerful moments in bloodborne was interacting with the celestial dial and witnessing the structure moving and unlocking in real time to let you pass and uncover the fishing hamlet. You can't appreciate this if you watched someone else instead of playing it.
videogames are an interactive art form, they are made to be interacted with, even story driven games like walking sims and visual novels are better experienced playing it cuz the point is FOR YOU TO INTERACT WITH THE GAME thats why it was made as a game not a movie 😭😭

This can be seen as a fallacy or rude Ion really care, but I wholeheartedly believe that most of the people who say that they can't afford or manage to play the games they "love" just wanna be in fandoms and are not part of the actual poor people crowd.

Like I refuse to believe that 80% of Resident Evil fans on this app are somehow so poor and helpless that they cannot even emulate or pirate or do anything to actually play the games they are somehow die hard fans of. Like a lot of yall gotta be lying man.

As much as I love Sekiro, fromsoft struck while the Iron was hot. A sequel to this game would need major upgrades and changes to feel special in the current oversaturated parry based games that exist.
I really hope From Software's next game is a Sekiro sequel. Sekiro's parry system & boss fights were in my opinion, the peak of this genre. I want to see this formula evolve in a sequel, I'm sure an Elden Ring 2 is coming, but I'd love if this happened first

Also after feeling both out holy shit dude dual blades mog great sword so hard
I feel like I moved onto the forest to quicky in MH: Wilds, I did all the main missions in the desert but I feel like there shouldn't have been more? There weren't many new side quests I was basically repeating the same thing I already did. Idk if I missed something.

I really don't understand the insistence of modern god of war in maintaining the one take camera style because the games do a bad Job at maintaining cohesion, and the diegetic feel while playing. There's almost always something interrupting the one take flow.

It feels like their heart is not in it, it served the story of 2018 despite how poorly the game handled the flow but in Ragnarok the limited style felt like it hindered the story and you still get a bad one take experience regardless.

I've been having a good time with monster hunter so far, a shit ton of tutorials and pop ups, not sure if this is a norm for the series but I'll assume it is. I'm taking a while to kill every monster and I hope thats normal and not a skill issue on my end.

One time before he blocked me I was arguing with him because he said cathedral of the deep was ass and when I asked him why he listed it having a poison swamp as a reason.
Getting blocked by #ThesePeople should be a badge of honor tbh

I seriously don't ever get this take man. I feel like every game that came out after bloodborne has your player move just as quick if not quicker then that game.
Replying to @Invinium
Nope. Its the dodge mechanic . The combat itself needs to be bloodborneified on 140-240 fps (probably impossible)

Everybody sounds Normal then you have this dude, making optimus prime sound like a twink.
#starting Like NieR: Automata, I know fuck all about the genre or the background of this series. I've never grown up with monster hunter or anything like that I'll be figuring it out as I'm playing.

The best way to do a souls like Imo if you want it to be combat focused is to stay away form the fromsoft style as much as possible. Do a Nioh, or something entirely different. Devs are trying to emulate a formula that serves many elements but they only focus on 1, the combat
To me almost every new soulslike falls flat, because it feels like the devs are focusing on the wrong things and that is extremely elaborate, ultra difficulty boss fights. Sure DS1 was sorta difficult, but to me it was more about the exploration. That's where it absolutely shone

Other elements eventually get streamlined to the point where they miss the point, the player isn't left to their own devices but their placed in an environment that would indicate it which isn't appealing. Don't copy something with a different vision then yours.

I think Todd Howard announced Elder Scrolls VI just because wanted to feel special and cute that day
