No prior generation had to give up all other joys in life to buy a home.
They had phones. They watched tv and movies. They ate at restaurants. They traveled. They drove new cars. They went to bars with friends. They drank and smoked constantly.

They’re spending way more on ground beef and lunch meats than most Americans which are expensive. I’ve personally switched to ground turkey a few years ago because the cost of beef is so high. When taxpayers are working hard and barely getting by and then see those collecting their tax dollars eating better than them, it’s understandably infuriating. And regarding soda, what the average family buys with their own money is their prerogative. When it’s the public’s money and we are also footing their medical bills, it is 100% our business.

Remember that Donald Trump *famously* told us that the "bottom 50% don't even pay any taxes." - that corresponds to individuals making <= about 50k / year.
And if you look at the numbers the GOP loves to throw around, the bottom 75% only contribute about 11% of taxes, right?

- 12m children;
- 8-9m elderly/disabled;
- 15-18m are working adults or their dependents;
- 3-4m are able bodied adults w/out dependents;

Of the 3-4m in the last category, there are a fair number of non-compliant folks wrt work requirements, but the VAST majority of SNAP recipients are either *already working* or *unable to work.*

Whoever this girl was working at Subway did everything right and it totally pissed this woman off because she didn’t get any response from her she just kept on taking other people’s orders and not finishing hers because the woman was rude and nasty to her! 👇👇
