Thank you Kieran Cuddihy @rteliveline for the invitation to speak about the real‑world impact of the unrest in #NorthernIreland on cancer patients. People living with cancer don’t need more barriers to life‑saving treatment. Nor do the staff who deliver it.

That’s a wrap on #ASCO2026! An excellent three days with some exciting breakthroughs presented, particularly in hard-to-treat cancers, and lots of learnings on patient advocacy.
We're taking home a real sense of hope for cancer patients globally.
Sharon O'Toole, one of the CLuB investigators, is taking part in the #VHI#MiniMarathon on Sunday to rise funds for @OvaCare which supports those affected by ovarian cancer
The link between obesity, estrogen & uterine cancer
Obesity is one of the strongest risk factors—but stigma often keeps people from getting the support they need.
🔹 Fat cells produce estrogen.
More body fat = more estrogen = higher risk.
🔹 This isn’t about blame.
Health is shaped by many factors—not just personal choice.
✨ The solution? Support, not shame.
Let’s create space for informed, sustainable health choices.
The #Jump4June Challenge is one way you can encourage loved ones to make healthy lifestyle choices, like maintaining a healthy weight, staying physically active, and understanding how obesity can increase the risk of uterine cancer.
💬 How can you support someone in making healthier choices?

Well done @aidanmccormick6 on raising such important points at the #AllIslandCancerSummit in @CrokePark today. "Research is the precursor to clinical trials and must be supported" Supporting initiatives like "BrightSparks" in @CluB_Cancer1@hea_irl to educate the next generation
Honoured to join the panel at the All Island Cancer Summit 19th May.
Let's talk about 'No patient left behind' by breaking down barriers to access & equity in cancer care.
Looking forward to a powerful discussion.
