Media coverage of Israel in the context of Hezbollah’s attacks from Lebanon has been deeply skewed and misleading. The Iranian regime and its terrorist proxy, Hezbollah, have been waging a sustained campaign against Israel from Lebanese territory, launching thousands of attacks on communities in northern Israel. As a result, millions of Israeli civilians have lived under constant threat, daily life has been severely disrupted, and tens of thousands of residents have been forced to leave their homes. Yet major international outlet - including AP, Reuters, The New York Times, CNN, NBC, CBC, and France 24 - have overwhelmingly focused on the Lebanese side of the story while largely ignoring the impact on Israeli civilians. An analysis conducted between June 3-10 of 750 articles published across 14 leading international media outlets found that Israeli civilian suffering accounted for just over 1% of total coverage.

To the people of Lebanon: You deserve a future defined by opportunity, stability, and sovereignty - not by the ambitions of a foreign regime. For too long, Hezbollah has dragged Lebanon into conflicts that do not serve the interests of the Lebanese people, while advancing Iran’s agenda at Lebanon’s expense. A stronger, more prosperous Lebanon begins when its future is determined in Beirut - not Tehran. 🎥 @IsraelMFA

“Bad guys snuck into our country and stole children from their beds.” Yael shares what it’s like to raise a seven-year-old daughter in northern Israel after October 7. For Israeli parents, security isn’t an abstract concept, it’s a daily concern. Watch her story. 🎥 @OrenMarmorstein

We appreciate the concern of the distinguished governments about the humanitarian access in Gaza, despite the fact that the concerns and claims in the statement are completely unfounded and detached from reality. There are immense amounts of humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip. Since the ceasefire, more than 1.6 million tons of food have entered the Gaza Strip, with an average of 600 humanitarian aid trucks entering the Strip each day. There are dozens of international aid organizations operating in the Strip that handle the aforementioned humanitarian aid. The registration process for these international organizations is designed to ensure that their activities are not exploited to promote terrorism, as was the case with UNRWA. In this regard, we refer governments to the USAID report published less than a week ago concerning more than 100 UNRWA employees found to have links to Hamas. The registration process for international organizations, including the need to ensure that their activities are not exploited for terrorism, was reviewed and approved by Israel's Supreme Court, whose independence democratic nations are expected to respect. 🔗oig.usaid.gov/node/8155

Victims of sexual violence deserve the same standard of justice, regardless of politics. October 7th victims have not been treated by the @UN with the same consistency applied elsewhere. When victims are viewed subjectively rather than equally, justice suffers. This is not only an issue for Israel. Applying different standards to different victims weakens the global effort to confront sexual violence and support survivors. 85 years ago, the Farhud pogrom shattered one of the oldest Jewish communities in the world. In June 1941, mobs in Baghdad brutally attacked, murdered, assaulted, and looted Jews simply for being Jewish. The Farhud was not only a tragedy for Iraqi Jewry - it became a symbol of the persecution faced by Jewish communities across the Middle East. Today, we remember the victims, honor the rich heritage of Iraqi Jews, and reaffirm the importance of standing against antisemitism, hatred, and incitement.

Despite the ceasefire, Hezbollah has been launching rockets, missiles and drones at Israeli communities while actively sabotaging diplomatic efforts between Israel and Lebanon. Israel's actions in Lebanon are aimed at removing an ongoing threat and ensuring the security of our people.

85 years ago, today, the Farhud pogrom shattered one of the oldest Jewish communities in the world. In June 1941, mobs tore through Baghdad -murdering, assaulting, and looting Jewish families simply for being Jewish. It wasn't just a tragedy for Iraqi Jewry. It became a symbol of the systematic persecution faced by Jewish communities across the entire Middle East. Today we remember the victims, honor the extraordinary heritage of Iraqi Jews, and recommit ourselves to standing against antisemitism, hatred, and incitement in all its forms.

Over a third of all the lives lost on October 7th were young people at the Nova Music Festival. Think about that for a moment. Festival goers. Music lovers. Kids in their 20s who showed up to dance and left in body bags. If this had happened anywhere else, the world would have stopped. Every festival that summer would have held a moment of silence. But it happened in Israel - so the music kept playing, the crowds kept dancing, and one of the worst massacres of young people in modern history was met with silence. 🎥 @2jewsonthenews @Freedland @LeviYonit

For 738 days in Hamas captivity, Alon Ohel survived the unimaginable - and he did it, in part, by holding onto music. No instrument. No audience. Just melodies playing in his mind, carrying him through the darkness one note at a time. 🎥 @Ron_Prosor

A hanged Jew effigy paraded in the streets of Montreal. Let us call this what it is: antisemitism. When violent imagery targeting Jews is displayed openly in the streets, something is deeply broken. These are the kinds of warning signs societies ignore at their peril. What begins with the dehumanization of Jews never ends with the Jews. Canadian authorities must act decisively before this hatred escalates further. jns.org/news/world/hanging-e…
