Jessie T. Usher reveals he initially did not want to do an audition for his role in #TheBoys because of his project at the time 'Shaft'. So Eric Kripke himself called the producer to make sure he did an audition tape.
"Eric Kirpke somehow gets in contact with John Davis, who is the producer of Shaft... he calls him up playfully, says, "Why you not giving your actors enough time to to prepare anything else for a tape?" John comes to me at lunch. "Hey, my my good friend My good friend Eric called me. He said he's got a project or something and and he's he wants to get a tape from you on it, but he gave me sh*t because I didn't give you enough time ""

And before all that? She was elected District Attorney, Attorney General of California, United States Senator, and Vice President of the United States.
