Does this leave Bruce Cassidy up for grabs? If so, he's the only guy I'd fire Andrew Brunette for if I'm the #Preds.
While I don't think Brunette's the answer, @emma_lingan put it perfectly on last week's Gold Standard: replacing the coach isn't McFarland's priority this summer.

Sources: The Edmtn Oilers are consulting with the NHLPA to see if there are objections that must be resolved before potentially hiring Mike Babcock. Amid allegations of invading players privacy, Babcock resigned in CBJ as Head Coach in 2023. Further investigation may be required.

In 2012, somebody in the #Preds with #Sabres ties told me I should send Gerry Meehan a birth announcement because he was instrumental in helping Alexander Mogilny get to the NHL. So I did.
Unexpectedly, Mr. Meehan signed the announcement and included a note to our new family. โค๏ธ
