This patch would provide nearly $21.5 million for critical #T1D research while Congress works to pass a longer-term SDP renewal, and an agreement on the Federal budget for this fiscal year. The President is expected to sign the resolution within the next few days.

On Tuesday, the FDA approved the first pre-mixed, pre-filled liquid glucagon formulation for use with either a pre-filled syringe (GVOKE PFS) or an auto-injector (GVOKE HypoPenTM.) @XerisPharma created the product to treat severe hypoglycemia--a daily concern for people with T1D.
