June is Pride Awareness Month. I was happy to be at the kickoff event helping to represent Southampton Ward on June 1st in front of the Saugeen Shores town offices for the raising of the Pride flag.
A great turnout on a sunny Monday afternoon (June 1) to kick off Pride month.
Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau stated “This event celebrates our 2SLGBTQI community and our shared commitment to equity and inclusion for all.”
I just wanted to announce that I am running for re-election as your Southampton Councillor in the upcoming Saugeen Shores municipal election.
I would like to thank all those who endorsed my nomination.
It sure humbles a guy when people step up like that.

Wed July 30th, I said goodbye and good luck to Rev. Carrie Irwin of St Paul’s/St John’s Anglican at a reception in Port Elgin. She is moving to Windsor to become the Archdeacon of the south of the Diocese.
