This is my 2nd grade daughter, Rosalie. I gave her 24 chex and asked her if she could make rectangles to show multiplication facts. Below is her answer to “How do you know 9 isn’t a factor of 24?” This was after a 2 hour bike ride. #MorePlayLessWorksheets

Ss in EspanolTres working on sharing insights from famous artists. Ss chose 2 of the 4 they learned about to highlight. Then Ss will use @Flipgrid to comment on others, finally authors will comment on critics agreeing or disagreeing. Nice comprehensible input! #johnstonlearns

Ss in Ms. Probst’s class practicing precise language. Pictionary is a great strategy, high engagement and shows the need for common understanding in math language. Kids were into it on Friday! @JCSD_MathClub #JohnstonLearns
