1/12 Hyperliquid Update 8: - Over the past week Hyperliquid processed >$51B of volume, bringing total traded volume on the platform to $3.29 trillion. - Hyperliquid is now the ~4th largest exchange by OI, sitting at $7.42B despite not fully recovering from the 10/10 liquidation event. - Despite increased traffic and volumes during the recent downturn, Hyperliquid had zero downtime or latency issues. Hypercore & HyperEVM consensus & execution handled the spike in throughput gracefully averaging 130,590 operations / second & 10.93k tx/s with an average blocktime of 81.28 m/s. On Nov 21st, OP/S peaked at 181k whilst tps peaked at 14.01k tps. - $1.62B of liquidations occurred on Hyperliquid last week, with $853M of them on BTC alone. Total notional liquidated on Hyperliquid all time has now surpassed $100B. - The first Aligned Quote Asset goes live with USDH, Growth mode is activate & BLP is being tested on Hypercore testnet.
