Good teamwork. You brought the “CIVI” and I brought the “TAS”. @civitas4health
Partnerships Inspire Transformation. Period. Oh, and it’s really hard to take a pic that shows the cool backs of #civitas2023 apparel & get in smiles as well. Thanks @jkansky for entertaining my crazy photo idea! @ContextureHIT @IndianaHIE @civitas4health

Great work. Significant impact. The need for HIE is not only in the US.
Nearly 300 people from 32 countries celebrated @OpenHIE's 10th anniversary at the #OHIE23 conference in Lilongwe, Malawi. Several events helped attendees connect and learn from one another to improve health for all. The conference ends May 5.

This was a great conversation.
I'm really excited about this one. We cover the major issues around health information exchanges. Thanks to @sarahtbland @dpugrad01 @jkansky and Morgan Honea (linkedin.com/in/mhonea/) . A great one-two punch for #health #data podbean.com/ew/pb-h8r28-12f3…
At the risk of self-promotion, here's me avoiding sounding like an idiot for 23 consecutive minutes (and they said it couldn't be done - hah.) healthcareitnews.com/news/hi… @MikeMiliardHITN

Thanks, @HealthIT_Policy for shining light on this. Based on survey data but still interesting. 2 Things: Yes... we need methods to work better together, and *YES*... complex healthcare organizations need to use more than one method for information exchange.
From the experts @ONC_HealthIT Hospital’s adoption of multiple methods of obtaining outside information and use of that information academic.oup.com/jamia/advan…

Yes, @CraigABrammer Thanks for calling this out. I believe in the free market but when it comes to our health information, not-for-profit mission-driven health data utilities can be trusted. Because Gordon Gekko will always do what Gordon Gekko does.
Your call but I say trust your own local, mission-focused health data utility vs these big VC-powered aggregators See ⁦@civitas4healthstatnews.com/2022/02/01/ibm-…

Yep... @lisabari is right. Look into it @ErinBanco. 50 states... no. Enough states to give a reliable view of the pandemic... yes. Which calls the question... Why shouldn't all 50 states have one?
