Kate Daigle Middlemiss only wanted Jack to run the first 50 yards of the Celebrity Mile. But, our beautiful, brave, and feisty heart warrior, who received his new heart on 2/16/18, had other ideas.

Jack just kept going, and ran the whole quarter of a mile lap, edging out running legend, @DMSE , at the finish line for the second year in a row! A special moment for our family.

Tomorrow is the day! Come out and support the work of The Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation while having fun! We have a great morning planned. Kids Fun Run at 9:30, Celebrity Mile at 10:00, and 5k Run/walk at 10:30. Food, music, candy garden, games, family fun to follow.

NO REJECTION for Jack! The doctors were happy with all of his numbers and all of the “pictures” they observed today! So great to be able to leave the hospital with some good, happy news.
