With all of the sadness and difficult days to get through last week, Jack and Grace, our precious gifts from Joseph, always find a way to bring some light and some moments of joy and celebration.
Jack will be moving up to a white belt with a yellow stripe. Yellow belt is next!
All of us @jmbhf can't wait to celebrate Heart Ball 2020 with you! It’s one of our favorite nights of the year and we are working to make it extra special this year! @soulcityband is back! More info to come. Ticket sales open soon! Save the date! TY for your love and support!
Kate Daigle Middlemiss only wanted Jack to run the first 50 yards of the Celebrity Mile. But, our beautiful, brave, and feisty heart warrior, who received his new heart on 2/16/18, had other ideas.
There will be two nights of bib pick up-registration this week. Time will be 3-7pm at ML Shaws ..14 Loon Hill Road Dracut . The weather is looking perfect for Saturday! If you haven’t signed up yet there’s still plenty of time. Thank You!

SPONSOR A NYC MARATHON MILE: In Memory of your Heart Angel or in honor of your Heart Warrior!
I am the co-founder of @JMBHF that my wife and I created to honor the memory of our heart angel, Joseph, & dad to 5 year old heart warrior and heart transplant recipient, Jack!
I’m looking for 26 people to sponsor me for each of the 26 miles I will run. With your donation of $50 or more, I will write the name of someone you want me to run the marathon in honor of on my race shirt. Please then email me at smiddlemiss.jmbigheart@gmail.org and let me know
the name of your heart angel or heart warrior, and the mile (1-26) you would like to sponsor. If you’re comfortable, share the reason why you’d like me to run in his/her honor so that I can think of this during the dedicated mile.
BIG NEWS!
So, I am doing something I have only made fun of people about, and am becoming one of those crazy runners! I am all signed up to represent JMBHF's Team BIG HEART in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in October 2019. So, I figured...what the heck?
Andif I am going to run through the streets of New York, what could be better than running with a silhouette of Big Papi on my shirt? Obviously, this week, the fact that I am running to support Papi & his mission to provide assistance to heart warriors is even more meaningful.
We are all praying for a full, speedy recovery for him, and this is the best way I feel I can support him and his family at this time. Please help me reach my goal...I promise to entertain you and complain a lot throughout my training!
