Basketball is the only sport where losing in the Finals is a bigger stain on someone’s legacy than losing earlier in the playoffs, and I don’t get it at all. Wemby taking the Spurs to the NBA Finals in his first playoff run should be commended, but instead, it won’t be

Mamdani had no influence on the Knicks winning. He did, however, have an influence on NYC-er’s behavior afterwards, as they knew a socialist would be light on crime.
New York City elected a socialist mayor, and the Knicks won their first championship in 53 years. Imagine what we could do with a socialist governor in Wisconsin?
