Food for Thought!!
Recruiting advice is everywhere these days.
Be careful of “hype moms” and “hype dads” who present themselves as recruiting experts without a proven track record of helping athletes reach the next level.
Before taking advice, ask questions. What organization have they helped? What experience do they have? What college coaches do they regularly communicate with? How many athletes have they actually helped get recruited?
Good intentions don’t always equal good guidance. The wrong advice can create unrealistic expectations, damage relationships, and cost athletes opportunities.
Do your research. Verify information. Trust people with experience, credibility, and results. Be prepared to do some work yourself!!
